Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of applications received for a role? Do you ever wonder how your competitors are able to cope with this same issue as you? Do you ever wish there was a way of filtering out all the mediocre and the excellent applicants? You have come to the right place as your good friends at Higher Hire will be posting here daily to show you how our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) will not only make your lives much easier but, most importantly, save your precious time!
What is ATS?
ATS is the abbreviation for Applicant Tracking System and is a form of software, which aids employers and recruiters during the hiring process. It scans, collects, sorts and ranks the individual CV’s they receive for any vacant positions.
This ATS system was originally only aimed for large corporations who receive thousands of applicants per vacancy. However, Higher Hire wants to bring this software to you, whether you are a simple recruiter, a local business or a corporate business. Why not gather any advantage you can get and run your business as lean as possible?
How does ATS work?
Higher Hire’s ATS will essentially act as an electronic gatekeeper for you as the employer or recruiter. Our software filters a CV’s content into specific categories and scans for specific keywords to determine if the applicant's CV meets your criteria. If so, the application is passed onto you the employer for further reviewing.
ATS basically weeds out unqualified candidates so that you, the recruiter, can focus your time on evaluating the applicants more likely to fit the mould of what you are looking for. In simpler terms, our software eliminates the least qualified applicants, rather than finding the best match for the vacancy.
